9.11 The view from my room tonight. Even after all this time, this is still too painful to remember. Yet something in me says I have to. To at least take a moment to honor those lives lost so senselessly.
From the 22nd floor of my hotel, I see NYC in mourning again, and I remember, as I'm sure the whole country does, that September morning far too well. And we always will.
And my heart goes out to the families of the deceased, forced by love, honor and the yearly day of remembrance to feel the depth of that sadness once again. - KL
