As I listened to Kenny's amazing voice that night I was happy and excited to know that I would be meeting him after the show.

I have been very fortunate to have met him a few times and he is always very gracious. He takes the time to listen and speak with each person, even though you know he must be exhausted. From the few minutes that you spend with him you know that his fans are very important to him and he appreciates their support.

That night I also had the opportunity to catch up with friends I have made through the fan club. I have met some wonderful people though Kenny and for that I truly thank him. I look forward to being able to spend more time with my dear friends but until then I have my pictures and my memories. - Pat M

In His Presence - by Nancy U

One might wonder what could be so inviting and promising; compelling even, to draw hundreds of people from their homes and already over-scheduled lives on a Sunday eveningand when I allowed myself to step outside my own excitement to notice what was happening around me as I stood in the lobby of Westbury, New York's North Fork Theatre on March 26, what I saw took my breath away: streams of happy people with smiling, expectant faces; and outside, beyond them an endless trail of headlights like fireflies in the night. They were coming to see Kenny Loggins, a consummate artist who enraptures listeners like moths to flame. And as always, he did not disappoint. Those same faces left the theatre transformed, glowing, ready to take up their lives with a renewed hope and vigor.

I felt the power of his velvet voice, masterful playing and incredible performing. For a short while he transported us away from whatever load was heavy, within to places of deepest felt connection, and beyond to be lost in dancing as if no one was watching. It is the best of our lives - of living, of Life - that he reminds us of, even in leading us in visiting those places of pain and fear. Somehow, he knows exactly how it feels for each of us to be in our own skin. Who among us doesn't ache somewhere deep inside where snuggling with a favorite well-loved stuffed animal provides all the security and comfort necessary to close our eyes on the world and drift into a safe slumber? Who doesn't want to be cherished as much as we cherish, to trust that the world is friendly and immune to disappointment or failure, to be comforted while our heart is breaking, to be understood and loved unconditionally? To be held, told a story, and sung to?

Somehow, when we leave his presence we are lifted up and better able to go back and give back to our everyday lives with hope â€" having been soothed, caressed, understood, reminded and assured that “everything is gonna be alright.  There is a deep and profound grounding and centering that occurs when Kenny sings and plays, and like an angelic troubadour he delivers the message that touches the place where we are collectively on the same journey Home.

Through that, the world is made better - through every individual encounter afterwards that is a bit kinder and perhaps more compassionate. Having felt understood, we are able to extend an extra measure to those whose paths we cross, with a gentler way of moving through the world and our lives.

We need your voice, Kenny. Among so many, many others I am in your debt for the way you strive to remain authentic to your highest Self. That striving is visible and recognizable - and serves as salve, beacon, and inspiration - indeed, it makes a profound, prophetic, important, and absolutely necessary difference to us all. - Nancy U
